The importance of back training is the key to having a strong balanced body.  We live in an urban society where we spend a lot of time head down on a computer or driving countless miles up and down a motorway. In fact we spend a lot of the time just doing things forward which basically isn’t good for us.

The percentage of people today you hear say I have a back problem or I have niggle in my back but its ok I can put it up with is very high.  For many people it comes from years of bad posture and not doing enough exercise or in fact doing the right exercises correctly.  Comical gyms have not helped! You walk in to a gym today and firstly see so many bad back exercises being performed wrong! This is down to a number of reasons.  Poor posture not corrected in the first place the other could be because you have a cowboy gym instructor who doesn’t care and gives you the quickest and easiest way to exercise, not caring weather its right for that specific individual.

Stop suffering and throwing cheap pills down your throat and start paying attention to the needs of your body and what it’s designed to do.   Imagine your spine as a mast of a boat the mast needs to be straight strong and supported to stay upright. To do this it needs support from the sails from the ropes which are the muscle alongside your torso.  The boat is your core which will stop you from sinking, if functioning right.  If all these areas are not working as one the boat will sink!
